Bernard Poulin is a commission painter , muralist and sculptor, creating both official and private portraits for an international clientele. His solo exhibitions are rare and are usually sold out to groups of patrons before they are created. He is the author of 9 books (5 on drawing), including a series of 4 books entitled: Colored pencil Techniques. (1989), the best seller: The Complete Colored Pencil Book (1992) was translated into French in Paris as (Le crayon de couleur) in 1994. Beyond Discouragement - Creativity was published in 2010. (a review of our times and their effect on creativity in both adults and children). In 2012, his short story Please Daddy Hold My Hand was illustrated by Dominic Bercier. On Life, Death And Nude Painting, a book of thoughts, was published in 2015.
