“For me, successful art is a fine balance between chaos and order, between subject matter and intention. Sometimes there is an indefinable tension in a work of art and it is this tension that creates something special. Quantum mechanics tells us that the reality of the material world is an illusion. There is really only energy and information and our perception of what we think we understand. Art is also an illusion, but the source or inspiration of creativity often comes from outside ourselves, from a place of profound and still beauty which is really just another word for god.”
