Cooroora Chair (2013)
This chair is a collaboration between me, Lindsay Embree, and furniture maker Ross Annels of Australia. In 2013 I spent 10 days at the Cooroora Institute near Cooroy, Australia exploring the dye potential of various local eucalyptus leaves and other plants. The chair design and construction is by Ross Annels (www.rossannels.com) and I dyed the silk for the seat. The result was stunning!
