Framed Thomlin (2009)
This piece was done by me (hammered copper Thomlin Fold), Steve Haywood (NZ) and Joyce Palmer (NZ) at CollaboratioNZ 2009, Whangarei, New Zealand. I learned a bit about the native New Zealand flax plant. The fibres, once removed, are very strong and silky soft.
