Venus Fish Trap (2002)
This collaborative piece was done for The Small Object Show at the Saskatchewan Craft Council Gallery in 2002. The egg was turned by The Hub City Turners, Miranda Jones did the painting and gold-leaf, I did the copper fold-forms that make the base, the arch and the top that overhangs the egg. Trent Watts did the exacting job of drilling the hole in the egg so that it would sit perfectly on the metal support pin.
