Unlikely Combination: top view (1998)
This is one of the first collaborations I was involved in at the International Wood Conference held at Emma Lake, SK in 1998. The aluminum bowl was turned by Lynn Hull of Seattle, Washington, USA; the Corian trim was turned by Bruce Bell of Australia. I designed, drew and etched the image into the surface of the bowl. Black etching ink was applied to the image and allowed to dry. This is the top, or inside view, of the bowl.
