A Respectable Chicken (2004)
This piece was created by myself and Neil Stoutenburg at the 2004 International Wood Conference at Emma Lake from 28 July - 2 August, 2004. We started with parts from the parts pile; a turned wooden body with pokey things at one end and a fabulous dolls head by Akira Blount from Tennessee. With these 'treasures' we created this piece. Additional turned pieces are by Niel, copper fold-forms and much of the painting by me with the aid of Elaine Sedgeman. This was a lot of fun!Photography: Grant Kernan
