1920’s Style Dress: If Gatsby were Australian (2015)
The 1920's is one of my favourite periods in fashion. Dresses hang freely from the shoulders and hips thereby accentuating the elongated line of the body. The colour comes from a variety of eucalyptus leaves that were bound into the finished dress, then simmered in clear water for about one hour. This dress pays homage to my love of 1920's and 1930's style dresses and my love of nature. (Photo: Grant Kernan)
