Westerose, Alberta

I paint in mainly watercolors as they please me asthetically.
I am passionate about art ,music and life .
Themes fall onto my page and I create what I see. Thank God for sight and the ability to use my hands!
I live a rural existence and find my inspirations all around me.
I have shows on a regular basis and have since I graduated from the Alberta college of Art and Design in 1974.
This year I am busy completing the credits I need to get my BFA,studying Cree language, continuing performing concerts, and home schooling the youngest of my 4 children.I have a new 'indie' Music C.D.called'The Dark Rider' coming out in May of 2007 and am currently working on a children's story book about ravens with my University of Regina Cree 101 proffessor. My 5 other cd's can be found on amazon.com and on Bear Family Records web site and on www.cowboypoetry.com:
[ go to Folks' poems and then find 's' in the list of poets for Schatz.]
