Valerie Crisp / Jeff

I live in Saint John, New Brunswick,at the western end of the Bay of Fundy and near Passamaquody Bay. The area offers endless possibilities for the artist,wonderful scenery, ever changing skies and extravagant color. I drew and sketched from earliest memory and was fortunate to be encouraged by my parents to take art courses in addition to the regular cirriculum offered by the schools. To me, art is neither a subject nor an object. It is a portal through which I pass to a place of beauty, serenity and tranquility, where hours pass like moments and I return refreshed, invigorated and revitalized.
